Dhapu Devi, has been a midwife through decades and has been awarded for her contribution to the women and children she has aided. She agonizes at the current state of maternal health care that has been practiced in several regions in India, and has been a witness to the stages of medical interventions and infrastructure establishments implemented through methodological practices.
